Through customized engineering, packaging, design and building complete control and switchgear systems with the latest technology, TOROMONT CAT POWER SYSTEMS has become an industry leader in the supply of Generators and Electric Power utilizing Caterpillar engines.   
Do you have high integrity and strong work ethic?  We are seeking an experienced Product Support Sales Manager who will be responsible for the management, development and performance of assigned PSSRs & ISRs and will also have a component of managing the Region’s P&L and the Product Support Sales Operations to support business decisions and results.   

Key Accountabilities

  • Model the way for safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
  • Support annual Parts and Service revenue growth and other assigned targets for Power Systems to include Electric Power, Marine, Industrial and Rental)
  • Manage and provide strategies for increasing product support sales within the region
  • Motivate, direct and coach PSSRs and ISRs to achieve objectives by monitoring and providing guidance to related activities
  • Ensure adequate and effective coverage of accounts and assigned territories
  • Review and analyze sales reports to make recommendations based on results
  • Provide administrative and policy guidance to PSSRs and ISRs to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Analyze financial statements, reports, forecasts and budgets to support financial performance indicators/business objectives
  • Identify opportunities to develop and implement cost-management initiatives in support of P&L
  • Manage information in support of achieving business metrics and targets
  • Manage, direct and coach ISRs on the regional vision to create talent for promotion
  • Travel to customers and our ten (10) Regional Centers for regular planned visits
  • Align Parts Counter initiatives across the Region

Key Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education preferred and/or relevant sales experience
  • 5+ years’ proven experience in a Sales and Management/Supervisory capacity
  • Solid understanding and experience with financial statement review and analysis
  • Safety conscious with strong leadership and team development skills and a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all levels in cross function teams and with customers
  • Excellent technical knowledge of all products supported by Toromont
  • Solid understanding of Toromont’s operating policies
  • Clearly defined sense of urgency and customer service focus
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with computers (DBS, Microsoft, SIS)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and clean Driver's Abstract
  • Willing and able to travel in as required for business
