Through customized engineering, packaging, design and building complete control and switchgear systems with the latest technology, TOROMONT CAT POWER SYSTEMS has become an industry leader in the supply of Generators and Electric Power utilizing Caterpillar engines.   
 
We are seeking a talented Sales Coordinator, Power Systems to play a key role supporting our Power Systems Sales and
E-Commerce Teams with related sales and customer deliverables to provide the best service possible.  If you have high integrity and strong work ethic we want you on our team?   

Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrate workplace safety, environmentally sound and healthy behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
  • Partner with the sales team to produce quality bid packages
  • Update and maintain the sales data systems including equipment, influencers and new customers information
  • Train team members on sales related systems and processes
  • Collaborate with the sales team to determine requirements for tradeshows and other customer events
  • Coordinate marketing materials for timely shipping to events and ensure materials are returned in good condition
  • Update website, documents and other materials as required on both the internet and intranet
  • Provide potential sales leads to our team as uncovered through strong networking and communication
  • Coordinate employee, customer seminars and other events as needed including annual United Way Campaign
  • Support our credit team by providing customer account information as needed
  • Collect and provide materials for our TEAM TALK employee communication as well as contribute ideas for upcoming issues
  • Provide a range of administrative support including daily coverage for our Welcome Desk

 

Key Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education and some experience working in a sales and service position for a busy environment is an asset
  • Safety conscious with a passion for delivering excellent customer service experiences
  • Power Systems industry/competitive market knowledge and/or a technical aptitude would be an beneficial
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams at all levels
  • Highly organized with strong planning skills, attention to detail and mindset for continuous improvement
  • Proven sense of urgency to assist internal and external customers
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with competing priorities
  • Self-motivated and flexible team player with a strong understanding of business principles and high initiative
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel Applications
  • Internet savvy and e-commerce experience would be an asset
