Reporting To: Exchange Manager, Reman

Do you have high integrity and strong work ethic?  We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR), Reman Cat Core to be a key internal and external customer liaison for Toromont Reman Exchange Products and coordinate the work flow of service and Exchange “flip” jobs through the shop.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assign regular case and warranty case numbers to Reman Unassigned Cores
  • Direct warehouse staff to add/remove cased cores and communicate to the branches incorrect tagging of cores
  • Review, analyze and maintain cores in DBS Core Grief Messages
  • Arrange and process carrier shipments of Cat core returns and major components
  • Attend to the needs and concerns of all the branches and provide instructions on Cat core returns
  • Maintain a relationship with the Customs Broker to proactively resolve shipment inquiries
  • Review, analyze and optimize cores in Packaging Grief (unknown credit allocation)
  • Review and request longer attrition dates to accommodate delayed major component core returns from remote sites
  • Review and analyze extra core entitlements and profit form the extras when possible

Key Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education in a Technical/Mechanical Program and/or experience in Parts and Service Operations
  • Safety conscious with a technical aptitude and basic knowledge of Caterpillar and competitive product lines
  • Highly customer centric and a strong team player with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain positive customer relationships consistently as well as internal partnerships
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Organized and analytical with attention to detail, efficient time-management and effective planning skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment with multiple and often competing priorities
  • A mindset for continuous improvement, high integrity and initiative to be proactive in achieving quality results and resolutions
  • Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word and Outlook (experience with DBS and SIS would be an asset)
  • Willing and able to work flexible and on call business hours in support of the business and customer base
