Do you have high integrity and strong work ethic?  We are seeking a dedicated E-Business Specialist to coordinate the upload and maintenance of all online inventory for processing parts orders, freight coordination and customer follow up on contracts. The E-Business Specialist will also act as branch administrator responsible for payables, phone call distribution, customer greeting, genset inventory file maintenance, and work order opening/closing for genset refurbishments.

Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives  
  • Provide Tier 1 support for parts.cat.com and Cat Integrated Procurement connections
  • Activate customer registrations for parts.cat.com
  • Provide solutions to meet customers’ requirements
  • Conduct in-person and online training seminars for customers both on site or remote
  • Grow and support of our eBusiness applications
  • Provide sales support and customer assistance for PartStore, eBusiness and eBusiness APIs
  • Manage 3rd-party marketplace agreements ie. Ariba, Quadrem, Hubwoo

Key Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education in Administration/IT or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Bilingual English/French both written and oral
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Customer oriented environment/sales experience would be an asset
  • Customer centric with strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Analytical with solid understanding of ERP procurement systems and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Effective time management and the ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations
  • Capacity to effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, independent and a team player with a clearly defined sense of urgency and initiative
  • Strong computer skills and proficiencies working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP Applications would be an asset
  • Willing and able to travel in support of the customer requirements (3 to 5 days per month)
  • A valid Ontario Driver's Licence and clean Driver's Abstract
